Hands On Thinking Skills

Grade Level: Preschool - 1st grade

hands on thinking skills, non verbal reasoning

Develops vocabulary, reading, reasoning, and analytical skills.

Hands-On Thinking develops spatial, verbal, motor, visual, and analytical thinking skills necessary for success in reading, writing, math, and science and is correlated as a resource for preparation for a variety of assessment tests like the NNAT (Naglieri), the OLSAT (Otis-Lennon), and the CogAT (Cognitive Abilities Test)**

Children have fun building manipulative relationships on each activity page using attribute blocks, pattern blocks, and interlocking cubes (sold separately - see below.) Each type of manipulative is used in the Hands on Thinking Skills activities.

Activities and units are sequentially developed to keep your child's interest level high. Verbal analysis is encouraged to build vocabulary and maximize synthesis of verbal and nonverbal reasoning skills.
